212 The Extra Degree

At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. And with boiling water, comes steam. And with steam, you can power a train. Just one degree makes all the difference.

At Hy-Capacity, we celebrate team members who give that extra degree with our 212 Program.

Team members submit 212 Moments that they’ve observed and the moments are shared throughout the company. Teams proudly display their 212 Moment certificates in their areas for all to see and to act as a reminder that we are all a part of creating an environment of greatness.

Some of our 212 Moments include things like coordinating activities to support local fundraisers, going above and beyond for a customer, helping another team without being asked. There are big and small 212 Moments, there are individual and group 212 efforts. Regardless, each of these moments are what make us special as a company.

We had 150+ 212 Moments submitted in 2018, and we look forward to many more this year!

Almost as important as the moment itself is the extra effort that it took for a team member to recognize the moment AND take the time to submit a 212 card.
