830440 Heavy Duty Shift Lever

I have installed several of these and the last one has opened my eyes for another supplier. I will say I do like the hole positions in the lever as far as taking up the slack in the worn shift linkages. I don't like the cuts made in the cam for the detent roller. They were made too wide, rough cut and too deep which lets the detent arms on the reverse and HI Low shift come too close together, thus lessening the tension on the spring of the detent arms with the rollers. After time and a little wear, the spring can loose enough tension and come off. Then you have no detent for the range shifter. Also I have noticed the OEM spring is a little stronger than the one in this kit. Pro comment: the lever is better than OEM Con comment: the roller pocket is too wide & deep
