Pressure Plates

Pressure plates are used to engage and disengage the power from the engine to the wheels, allowing the operator to smoothly control the speed and movement of the tractor. Choosing between the various designs depends on your tractor's specific requirements and the nature of the work it performs.

Diaphragm / Single Stage clutch systems are designed with a pressed steel housing. This provides maximum strength and minimum space requirements in lower powered machines.

Dual Stage clutch systems include two clutch discs in one unit. One transmission disc and one PTO disc. These clutch systems are beneficial in high-torque or heavy-duty applications.

Clutch Discs

The primary purpose of a clutch disc is to transfer power from the engine to the transmission. Hy-Capacity offers clutch discs in several varieties, each offering distinct advantages based on your tractor’s needs.

Woven or fiber clutch discs are ideal for performance and durability. They are typically used in smaller to mid-sized machines.

Padded or button clutch discs will be found in larger model machines. They are ideal for repeated engagement and disengagement applications. These are often used as an upgrade to a woven style disc due to the additional longevity they provide.

Clutch Kits & Units

Investing in a clutch kit or unit can streamline maintenance, improve operational efficiency, and offer long-term reliability for your tractor.

1. Comprehensive Solution: A kit typically includes all the essential components- clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearings, and pilot bearings. This also simplifies the purchasing process, order one part number for everything needed.

Flywheel
